Abdulkadir Kure University, Minna (AKUM) has officially announced the dates for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry online screening exercise. The screening will run from Sunday, September 14, 2025, to Saturday, September 27, 2025, giving applicants two full weeks to complete the process.

This year’s admission process is fully online, meaning candidates will not need to physically visit the university campus for screening.


Who Is Eligible for AKUM Post-UTME 2025/2026?

The university has outlined strict eligibility requirements:

  • Applicants must have chosen AKUM as their first choice in JAMB.
  • UTME candidates must meet the minimum cut-off mark for their faculty or chosen programme.
  • Direct Entry candidates must provide their JAMB-issued DE registration details.

Note: Candidates who do not meet these conditions will not be considered for admission.

  • UTME candidates: Use your JAMB registration number as username, and any of your names as password.
  • Direct Entry candidates: Use your DE registration number in the same way.

  • Pay a ₦2,000 screening fee through the portal’s online wallet.
  • Immediately generate and print your acknowledgement slip, which serves as your official screening ticket.

Important Information for Candidates

  • All candidates must upload their O’Level (or A’Level for DE) results on both JAMB CAPS and the AKUM portal.
  • Only those who upload results on both platforms will be considered for admission.
  • A maximum of two O’Level sittings is allowed.
  • Providing false information will lead to immediate disqualification.
  • For any technical issues, candidates should contact the official support email provided on the portal.
  • Deadline: The portal closes on September 27, 2025. Missing the deadline means automatic disqualification.
