FUBK Issues Vital Notice to Newly Admitted Basic Studies Students for 2025/2026 Session
The Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) has officially released a detailed notice to guide all newly admitted students of the School of Basic Studies (SBS) for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the announcement, students are urged to carefully follow the outlined steps to ensure a smooth registration process and avoid delays that could affect their academic schedule.
Step-by-Step Registration Guide for FUBK Basic Studies Students
Step 1: Payment of Acceptance Fee
All newly admitted candidates are required to pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦7,000 through the official FUBK SBS portal.
This payment confirms a student’s acceptance of the admission offer into the School of Basic Studies.
Step 2: Physical Screening Exercise
After completing the acceptance fee payment, students must attend a physical screening exercise at the School of Basic Studies premises, located at the University’s take-off site along Birnin Kebbi–Jega Road.
Screening Date: Monday, 3rd November 2025
Documents Required for Verification:
- Original O’Level result(s) (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, etc.)
- Declaration of Age or Birth Certificate
- Indigene Certificate
Step 3: Payment of School Fees
Upon successful screening, students are to generate a Remita invoice and make payment of ₦58,000 as the official school fees for the session.
Step 4: Admission Confirmation
Once the school fees have been confirmed, students will be issued an Official Confirmation of Admission Letter and a Student File at the SBS Administrative Office.
Step 5: Commencement of Lectures
Lectures for all admitted students are set to commence on Monday, 10th November 2025. The University strongly advises students to complete their registration before this date and resume lectures promptly.
