NYSC Reschedules 2024 Batch C Stream 1 Passing-Out Ceremony to November 11, 2025
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced a change in the passing-out date for members of the 2024 Batch C Stream 1 across the country.
According to the management, the new Passing-Out Parade (POP) will now hold on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, instead of the earlier date of Thursday, November 6, 2025.
Why the Change Was Made
NYSC management explained that the decision followed a review of its ongoing administrative and operational activities. The shift, it said, was necessary to ensure smooth coordination and effective execution of the nationwide ceremony.
This new schedule applies to all corps members currently serving under the 2024 Batch C Stream 1, regardless of their state of deployment.
NYSC’s Apology and Assurance
In an official statement, the management expressed regret over any inconvenience the change might cause to corps members, state coordinators, and employers of labour.
“We appreciate the understanding and patience of all stakeholders. Our priority remains to ensure a seamless and well-organised passing-out exercise across all states,” the NYSC stated.
The organisation reaffirmed its commitment to the welfare of corps members and the successful completion of their service year.
What Corps Members Should Do Next
All affected corps members are advised to stay connected with their state secretariats and monitor official NYSC communication channels for updates regarding clearance, final documentation, and event procedures.
Members are also encouraged to finalise all clearance activities early to avoid last-minute issues before the new POP date.
Final Words from NYSC
NYSC appreciated the continued cooperation of corps members and stakeholders, adding that the adjustment was made in the best interest of all.
As the new November 11, 2025 passing-out date approaches, the scheme urged members to remain diligent and uphold the spirit of national service, discipline, and unity that the programme represents.
