OOU Issues Final Notice on 2025/2026 Acceptance Fee Deadline
The management of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has officially announced the deadline for payment of the acceptance fee for all newly admitted candidates for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to the university’s notice, Wednesday, October 29, 2025, has been set as the final date for payment. OOU emphasized that failure to pay the acceptance fee before the deadline will lead to automatic forfeiture of admission.
The institution, therefore, urges all newly admitted students to complete the process immediately to secure their admission status and avoid losing their placement.
JAMB CAPS: Candidates Advised to Confirm Admission Promptly
In addition to the payment notice, OOU also advised candidates offered provisional admission via the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to log into their JAMB profiles and accept their admission offer within 48 hours.
The university warned that any candidate who fails to accept the offer within the stipulated time will be considered to have declined the admission, and such spaces may be reassigned to other qualified applicants.
However, candidates whose JAMB CAPS status still reads “Admission in Progress” have been urged to remain patient as the final approval process continues. Once JAMB finalizes their admission, they can then proceed to pay their acceptance fees.
How to Pay the OOU Acceptance Fee
To make the process easier, OOU provided the following step-by-step guide for acceptance fee payment:
- Visit the official OOU admission portal.
- Log in using your JAMB registration number.
- Generate your acceptance fee invoice.
- Make payment online or at any designated bank using the reference number on your invoice.
- Print and keep your payment receipt for further registration procedures.
The university strongly warned candidates to use only the approved university portal to avoid fraudulent or invalid transactions.
OOU Congratulates Newly Admitted Students
In its message, the university management congratulated all newly admitted students into the 2025/2026 academic session.
“We look forward to welcoming our new students to Ago-Iwoye for another exciting academic year filled with learning and growth opportunities,” the statement read.
With the countdown already ticking toward the October 29 deadline, candidates are urged to act fast, confirm their admission on JAMB CAPS, and complete payment to secure their place at Olabisi Onabanjo University.
