UNIOSUN Issues Final Warning on 2025/2026 Admission Acceptance
Osun State University (UNIOSUN) has officially congratulated all candidates offered provisional admission for the 2025/2026 academic session — but with a firm reminder: failure to accept the offer before the final deadline means automatic forfeiture of admission.
According to the university management, candidates who received admission offers on the MERIT list (released September 27, 2025) and the First Supplementary list (released October 12, 2025) are expected to have accepted their offers via the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).
Deadline Set for Monday, October 27, 2025
To ensure transparency and timely admission processing, UNIOSUN mandates that all provisional offers be accepted within two weeks of release. The institution noted that this rule enables the university to promptly forward accepted candidates to JAMB for final approval.
The management has now set 12:00 noon on Monday, October 27, 2025, as the final deadline for all 2025/2026 admission acceptances. Any candidate who fails to accept their offer by that time will automatically forfeit the admission opportunity.
How to Accept Your Admission
Candidates are strongly advised to log in to their JAMB CAPS portal and click “ACCEPT” to confirm their admission status immediately.
For those experiencing technical challenges or login issues, UNIOSUN recommends visiting the nearest JAMB-accredited CBT centre for professional assistance to avoid missing the deadline.
