The University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH), College of Nursing Sciences, has officially announced the commencement of admissions into its 18-month Post Registered Nursing Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This specialized programme, offered by the Department of Nursing Science, is designed to advance professional nursing practice and leads to the award of the Registered Nurse (RN) Certificate.

- Pay a non-refundable application fee of ₦15,000.00 via the Remita platform to UBTH TSA, following the payment instructions on the portal.
- Make a separate payment of ₦500 to the Nursing and Midwifery Council Committee, Edo State, using the following details:

- Account Number: 2004854377
- Bank: First Bank of Nigeria
- Complete the online form and upload all required documents.
- Ensure submission on or before Friday, January 30, 2026.
Applicants are strongly advised to submit their forms early to avoid disqualification due to late entry.
Entry Requirements
To qualify for the UBTH Post Registered Nursing Programme, candidates must:
- Be 18 years or older.
- Possess five credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and Chemistry, obtained in not more than two sittings in WAEC, GCE, or NECO.
- Upload a valid Registered Midwifery (RM) or Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) certificate.
- Have at least one year of post-registration experience.
- Upload a reference letter from their current or most recent employer.
- Upload a current practising licence.
- Ensure all scanned documents are clear and properly legible before submission.
