FUOYE Corrects Cyber Security Cut-off Mark to 65.35 After Initial Error

The Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has officially corrected its merit cut-off mark for admission into the Department of Cyber Security for the 2025/2026 academic session.

According to a new statement released by the university’s Academic Affairs Office, the valid merit score is 65.35, not 62.25 as previously announced.

The university management issued an apology for the earlier misinformation, acknowledging the confusion it may have caused among applicants, parents, and members of the public.

“We sincerely apologise for the earlier error and any misunderstanding it may have created,” the statement read.


Clarification from Academic Affairs

FUOYE’s Academic Affairs Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Adohoje, confirmed that 65.35 is the correct and official cut-off mark for Cyber Security applicants.

The clarification was made to ensure transparency and fairness in the ongoing admission process. It also helps candidates accurately determine their eligibility before proceeding with further admission steps.
