ATBU Announces 2025/2026 Physical Screening Schedule — Here’s What Candidates Must Know

Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, has officially released the schedule for its physical screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This process is mandatory for all candidates who applied through JAMB and are seeking admission into the institution.

The screening serves as a key step in verifying the eligibility of each applicant before final admission is granted. ATBU management has emphasized that only candidates who complete this stage successfully will be considered for the admission list.


ATBU Physical Screening Timetable

  • Start Date: Friday, 17th October 2025
  • Closing Date: Saturday, 25th October 2025
  • Venue: NCC Building, Gubi Campus, along Kano Road, Bauchi

The university stressed that no extension will be granted beyond the closing date. All candidates must therefore ensure they appear within the scheduled period.

Documents Required for Screening

Candidates are expected to come with original copies and photocopies of the following documents for verification:

  1. JAMB Result Slip
  2. O’Level Result (WAEC, NECO, or equivalent)
  3. Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age
  4. Local Government Indigene Certificate
  5. ATBU Screening Acknowledgement Slip
  6. Recent Passport-sized Photographs

Applicants without complete documentation may not be allowed to participate in the exercise.
