LASU Opens Applications for 2025 Sandwich Degree Programmes at Ojo and Epe Campuses
LASU is inviting qualified candidates to apply for its Bachelor of Science in Education (B.Sc. Ed), Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A. Ed), and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Sandwich Degree programmes, available in both four-year and five-year durations, depending on entry qualifications.
Available Courses Include:
- B.Sc. Education: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science Education, and Educational Technology.
- Human Kinetics, Sports, and Health Education: Health Education, Physical & Health Education.
- Business and Management: Business Education, Educational Management.
- Social Sciences: Economics, Political Science, Geography.
- B.A. Education: History, Christian Religious Studies, Islamic Religious Studies, French, English, Yoruba, and Arabic.
- B.Ed. Education: Early Childhood and Primary Education, Guidance & Counselling Education, Special Education.
Admission Requirements
General Basic Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Five (5) O’Level credits or NABTEB in relevant subjects at not more than two sittings, plus two (2) A’Level passes or NCE Merit Passes.
- University/Polytechnic two-year Diploma in a relevant field with at least Merit/Lower Credit.
- Credit passes in English Language and Mathematics are compulsory for all applicants.
Specific Subject Requirements
- English Major: Credit passes in English Language and Literature in English.
- Economics Major: Credits in English Language, Mathematics, and Economics.
- Political Science Major: Credits in English Language, Mathematics, and Government.
- Mathematics & Science Majors: Credits in Mathematics, English Language, and Physics.
- Health Education/Human Kinetics: Credits in English, Mathematics, plus Biology, Agricultural Science, or Health Science. Candidates with Nursing, Midwifery, Environmental Health, or Sports Coaching Diplomas are also eligible.
Other Accepted Qualifications
- ICAN (Part II) and CTS (Part II) for Economics.
- NCE (Arabic) at Merit Level or certificates from recognized Arabic institutions.
- Substitution of Yoruba with any other Arts/Social Science subject.
Programme Duration
- Four-Year Degree Programme: For candidates with NCE/ND (Merit/Lower Credit and above).
- Five-Year Degree Programme: For candidates with WASC/SSCE, NABTEB, or NCE who do not meet four-year criteria.

- Application Fee: ₦10,000 (Ten Thousand Naira only).
- Submission: After online registration, applicants must submit a printed copy of their application form and O’Level scratch cards to the Directorate of Sandwich Degree Programme at their chosen campus.

The deadline for application is 12 weeks from the date of publication.
Entrance Examination
- Date: Saturday, November 1, 2025
- Venue: 3-in-1 Lecture Theatre (Hall 1 & 2), LASU Ojo Campus
- Time: 9:00 a.m.
- Requirements: Writing materials, original and photocopies of all credentials.
