UNILAG Opens Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Professional Certificate Admissions for 2025/2026

The University of Lagos (UNILAG), through its Human Resources Development Centre (HRDC), has officially announced the opening of applications for its Diploma, Advanced Diploma, and Professional Certificate programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The programmes, designed to equip students with practical skills and professional qualifications, cover a wide range of fields, from business management and security studies to early childhood education and foreign languages. Successful candidates will earn recognized certificates, with some diplomas serving as direct pathways to degree programmes at UNILAG.

Why This Matters

For many aspiring professionals, these programmes offer an accessible entry point into higher education and career advancement. They are particularly attractive to working-class applicants, since most courses are structured as part-time weekend classes, while a select few run full-time during weekdays.
