EBSU Opens Supplementary Admission for 2025/2026: Step-by-Step Guide

Ebonyi State University (EBSU), Abakaliki, has officially announced the commencement of its 2025/2026 supplementary admission exercise. This opportunity is open to candidates who selected EBSU as their first choice during the UTME, scored 150 and above, and possess the required O’level credits.

For many students, this is the second chance to secure a spot at the institution, provided they meet the stipulated requirements and follow the application process carefully.


How to Apply for EBSU Supplementary Post UTME

Applications are processed strictly online through the university’s portal. Interested candidates must complete the following steps:

  1. Visit the EBSU application portal.
  2. Generate an invoice using your JAMB registration number.
  3. Pay the supplementary fee of ₦10,050.00 — payment can be made at any bank, via ATM cards, POS, or transfer.
  4. After payment, log back into the portal and fill out the supplementary form.
  5. Complete all required fields, submit, and print your form.

Application opens: Monday, 1st September 2025
Application closes: Monday, 13th October 2025

Cut-Off Marks for EBSU Supplementary Post UTME

Cut-off scores vary depending on the faculty:

  • Civil Engineering: 150 and above
  • Chemical Engineering & Electrical/Electronics: 170 and above
  • Environmental Sciences: 170 and above
  • Other courses: 150 and above (unless otherwise stated)

Important Notes for Applicants

  • All required fields on the supplementary form must be filled.
  • Even candidates who missed admission on merit must complete the supplementary application.
  • No clearance will be processed without proof of payment of the supplementary fee.

Deadline Reminder: The portal closes on Monday, 13th October 2025. Candidates are strongly advised not to delay their applications.
