The Gombe State College of Nursing Sciences, also known as the College of Nursing and Midwifery, has officially announced the sale of admission forms for its 2025/2026 Post-Basic Nursing programmes. Interested candidates must act fast as the application window is short, and the process is entirely online.


Available Programmes

The College offers two specialized tracks:

  1. Post-Basic Higher National Diploma (HND) in Nursing
    • Duration: 2 years
    • Eligibility: Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) with a current practising licence
  2. Post-Basic Public Health Nursing
    • Duration: 1 year
    • Eligibility: Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife (RM) with a current practising licence

These programmes are designed for nurses and midwives aiming to upgrade their professional skills and take on broader roles in healthcare.

How to Apply

Applicants must follow the official Gombe Nursing Application Portal to complete their forms. Steps include:

  1. Create an account with a valid email and phone number
  2. Select your programme of choice
  3. Pay a non-refundable ₦20,000 application fee (plus e-service charges) via the designated bank platform
  4. Complete the online form and upload required documents
  5. Print out the acknowledgment slip and submit it with two recent passport photos to the College’s ICT Unit

Ensure every step is completed, as missing any stage may invalidate your application.
