Edo Students Alert: Dominic Esangbedo Scholarship 2025 Opens for STEM Scholars
Edo State students have a fresh chance to secure financial support for their education as the Esangbedo Humanitarian Foundation (EHF) announces the 2025 Dominic Esangbedo Tertiary Education Scholarship (DETES).
The scholarship, established in memory of the late Dominic Ekodon Esangbedo, aims to empower students who are passionate about Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). Beyond academic performance, the program seeks students committed to using their education to uplift their communities and build a safer future.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is divided into two categories:
Category 1: Igueben Local Government Area (LGA)
- Must be an indigene of Igueben, Edo State.
- Must be enrolled in a STEM course at a public institution within Edo State.
- Minimum CGPA of 2.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Female students and vulnerable groups are strongly encouraged to apply.
Category 2: Other LGAs in Edo State
- Must be an indigene of Edo State (outside Igueben).
- Must also be studying a STEM course in a public institution within Edo State.
- Minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale.
- Female students and vulnerable groups are encouraged to apply.
