RUGIPO Opens 2025/2026 Post UTME Registration for ND Full-Time Programmes
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo (RUGIPO) has officially announced the commencement of Post UTME registration for its National Diploma (ND) full-time programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The Polytechnic is inviting all candidates who selected RUGIPO during the 2025 JAMB UTME, as well as those who wish to switch to the institution, to apply. However, only applicants who scored 100 and above in UTME are eligible to participate.
Courses Available in RUGIPO Post UTME 2025/2026
RUGIPO offers a wide range of ND programmes across science, engineering, management, technology, and creative disciplines. Below is the full list of courses available:
- Agriculture & Related Fields: Agricultural Technology, Animal Health & Production, Fisheries & Aquaculture, Forestry Technology, Horticultural Technology, Food Science & Technology, Nutrition & Dietetics, Home & Rural Economics.
- Sciences & Technology: Computer Science, Mathematics & Statistics, Science Laboratory Technology, Pharmaceutical Technology.
- Management & Business: Accountancy, Business Administration, Banking & Finance, Marketing, Insurance, Taxation, Cooperative Economics & Management, Microfinance & Enterprise Development, Office Technology & Management, Public Administration, Social Development.
- Engineering & Technical Fields: Agricultural & Bio-Environmental Engineering, Computer Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Welding & Fabrication, Marine Engineering (new), Building Technology.

How to Apply for RUGIPO Post UTME 2025/2026
Follow these steps to complete your application:
- Visit the RUGIPO student portal to begin the process.
- Make payment via the Unified Payments Platform using MasterCard or Verve card at any commercial bank.
- Screening fee: ₦2,000 (plus administrative and portal charges).
- Complete your registration on the portal after payment.
- Upload the following documents:
- JAMB UTME result slip with score.
- O’Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB).
- Note: O’Level results must also be uploaded on JAMB CAPS before final admission can be granted.

- Candidates should regularly check the RUGIPO admission portal for updates on their admission status.
- Early registration is strongly advised to avoid last-minute challenges.
- Only applicants who fulfill all requirements and complete the online screening process will be considered for admission.
