NYSC Opens 2025 Batch B Stream II Registration Portal – Everything You Need to Know

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially announced that the registration portal for the 2025 Batch “B” Stream II mobilization will open on September 8, 2025. This update is important for all prospective corps members (PCMs) — Nigerian graduates from universities and polytechnics both at home and abroad.

If you are preparing to serve your fatherland through NYSC, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you avoid costly mistakes during the registration process.

Guidelines for Locally-Trained Graduates

  • NIN is compulsory: You must have a National Identification Number (NIN) to register.
  • Fresh Registration: For first-time registrants.
  • Revalidation: For those deployed in earlier batches but did not report to camp.
  • Login Here: For candidates who started registration earlier but didn’t complete it.
  • Passport Guidelines: A webcam will be used for facial capturing. Dress neatly, as blurred or poorly dressed photos will be rejected.
  • No Proxy Thumbprinting: Biometric capture must be done personally.
  • Permanent Details: Your Date of Birth, Date of Graduation, and Course of Study will appear on your NYSC certificate and cannot be corrected after camp registration.
  • Correction Requests: Changes to name, date of birth, course, or degree classification must be done through your NYSC dashboard.
  • Special Cases:
    • Married female PCMs should upload marital documents for concession.
    • Corps members in the Armed Forces must upload official documents.
    • PCMs with health challenges or disabilities must indicate and upload supporting documents.
  • Personal Monitoring: Always oversee your registration yourself to prevent errors.

Guidelines for Foreign-Trained Graduates

  • No Multiple Accounts: Create and use only one NYSC account. https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ForeignReq.aspx
  • Document Upload: Upload original certificates and ensure your name matches your degree.
  • Thumbprint in Nigeria: You can register abroad, but biometric thumbprinting must be done in Nigeria.
  • Evaluation Letters: If your school has not been evaluated, contact the Federal Ministry of Education (Abuja) for an evaluation letter.
  • Pre-Camp Verification: Select a verification center during registration and present yourself with original credentials, transcripts, and travel documents.
  • SSCE Requirement: Your uploaded SSCE result must be at least 4 years old.
  • Certificates & Exemptions:
    • Those exempted must collect their certificates at the NYSC National HQ, Abuja.
    • Those excluded from service will print their Exclusion Letter online.
    • Carry a translated copy of your certificate if written in another language.

Important Notes

  • Accredited Cybercafés: Cyber Café Operators charge between ₦5,000 – ₦6,000 depending on location. Only use NYSC-accredited cybercafés to avoid fraud.
  • Official Websites:
  • Senate List: Always confirm your details on the Senate list before starting registration.

Final Advice

Registration mistakes can cause serious delays, so double-check every detail before submission. NYSC has warned against proxy registration, fake documents, and multiple accounts.

As the countdown to September 8 begins, prospective corps members are encouraged to prepare their documents early to ensure a smooth registration process.

Best of luck to all 2025 Batch B Stream II PCMs!
