UNILAG Opens Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer for 2025/2026 — See Requirements and How to Apply
The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has officially announced the sale of inter and intra-faculty transfer forms for the 2025/2026 academic session. This opportunity gives students who wish to switch from one faculty to another a fresh chance to pursue a course that better suits their passion and career goals.
The sales of forms begin Monday, July 21, 2025, and will close on Friday, September 5, 2025. UNILAG has advised interested students not to delay as late applications will not be considered.
Who Can Apply?
UNILAG has set strict conditions for students who wish to transfer. To be eligible, you must:
- Have completed 200 level by the end of the 2024/2025 session.
- Possess a minimum CGPA of 1.00.
- Meet the O’Level or A’Level subject requirements for your new course.
- Provide your current statement of results.
Students with poor attendance or a very low GPA may not be considered.

How to Apply for UNILAG Transfer 2025/2026
Step 1: Confirm Eligibility
Before applying, make sure you meet all requirements to avoid wasting the ₦20,000 application fee.
Step 2: Apply Online
- Visit the official UNILAG website.
- Log in to your student portal.
- Click on the Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer section.
- Fill in the form.
- Generate a payment advice with your RRR number.
- Pay ₦20,000 at any commercial bank.
Step 3: Submit Required Documents
After payment, return to the portal to print your transfer form. Attach the following documents:
- O’Level or A’Level result.
- Statement of results.
- Signed forms from both your current and proposed Heads of Department (HODs) and Deans.
Make four (4) copies and submit them to the Academic Affairs Office, 6th Floor, Senate House, UNILAG, on or before Friday, September 5, 2025.
