FULokoja Issues Strict Warning as Second Semester Exams Begin September 1, 2025

The Federal University Lokoja (FULokoja) has announced that its second semester examinations will officially begin on Monday, September 1, 2025. Alongside this announcement comes a stern reminder: students must strictly adhere to examination rules and regulations or face severe penalties.

The university emphasized that while exams are meant to test knowledge, misconduct has no place in the process. Over the years, some students have risked their academic careers through malpractice, but the management has made it clear—this session, there will be no second chances.

Staff Accountability Matters Too

The university also issued a strong warning to lecturers and staff. Anyone caught assisting candidates to cheat, extorting money, or demanding favours for grades will face the Staff Disciplinary Committee. The rules apply equally to both students and staff.

Exam Day Reminders for Students

To ensure a smooth examination process, FULokoja advised all students to:

  • Sit for Computer-Based Exams (CBE) with calmness and follow ICT Centre rules
  • Sign in at the start and sign out after submitting scripts
  • Present the following documents before entry:
    • Printed exam card with photo
    • University ID card

Final Word

Exams are tough, but shortcuts are costly. FULokoja’s message is simple: play fair, avoid malpractice, and protect your future. Success comes from preparation, not cheating. As students prepare to face the second semester exams, the golden rule stands—those who play by the rules sleep peacefully at night.
