DELSU Post-UTME 2025: Deadline Extended for Candidates Awaiting NECO Results

Delta State University (DELSU), Abraka, has officially extended the deadline for its 2025/2026 Post-UTME screening application, giving candidates awaiting their NECO results one final chance to apply.

Why the Extension?

The university management announced that the sales of application forms, originally set to close on Sunday, August 31, 2025, will now end on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

This extension comes in response to appeals from candidates still awaiting their NECO results. Management described this as the last opportunity for interested applicants to complete their registration before the portal shuts down.

Who Can Apply?

Here’s a quick breakdown of the eligibility criteria:

• UTME Candidates: Those who scored 150 and above and selected DELSU as their first choice in JAMB.
• Direct Entry (DE) Candidates: Applicants with NCE, OND, HND, A-levels, or a first degree in relevant fields.
• Change of Institution Candidates: Students who did not originally choose DELSU but are willing to make it their first choice on the JAMB portal before the September 7 deadline.

Important Note: All candidates must upload their O’level results to the JAMB portal. Without this, admission will not be processed.

1. Visit the  DELSU student portal
2. Click on POST UTME 2025/2026.
3. Select Start Form.
4. Enter your JAMB Registration Number.
5. Complete the online form and proceed to payment.
6. After payment, input your O’level subjects, guardian’s details, and upload your passport photo.
7. Click Submit.
8. Print the confirmation page and keep it safe.

After Applying

• DELSU will communicate screening updates via the email address and phone number you provided during registration.
• Ensure your contact details are valid and active.
