ABU Zaria Post-UTME 2025: Registration Updates, Technical Issues, Screening Dates and Requirements

ABU Post-UTME 2025 Begins — But Portal Issues Hit Some Candidates

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria has officially kicked off its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. But just as thousands of eager applicants rushed to register, technical glitches on the university’s portal have left many stranded.

According to a Special Bulletin released on Monday, the affected candidates include:

  • Applicants from Abuja/FCT and Nasarawa State
  • Students who recently switched to ABU from other institutions
  • Candidates applying for programmes such as Sustainable Social Development and Sustainable Environmental Standard
  • Students who changed their programmes but still see their old choices reflected on the portal

Despite these setbacks, ABU has assured applicants that the registration portal will remain open until the last day of the screening exercise, giving everyone ample time to complete their process.
