FUNAAB Post-UTME/DE 2025: How to Apply, Cut-Off Marks, Deadline

If you’ve been dreaming of studying at the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), this is your chance. The university has officially announced the start of its 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) registration.

The new academic session begins in September 2025, and interested candidates must follow the outlined requirements and deadlines carefully.


Who Can Apply?

UTME Candidates must:

  • Choose FUNAAB as their first choice in JAMB.
  • Score at least 160 in UTME.
  • Possess five O’level credits in relevant subjects (in not more than two sittings).

Direct Entry (DE) Candidates must:

  • Hold at least an Upper Credit or equivalent in their previous qualification.
  • Choose FUNAAB as their first choice in JAMB.
  • Submit their transcript or certified statement of results to the Registrar on or before Friday, 15 August 2025.
    No transcript, no admission.

FUNAAB Cut-Off Marks by Faculty

FUNAAB sets different cut-off marks depending on your course of study:

  • Agriculture-related courses – 160 and above
  • Biological Sciences, Computing, Engineering, Physical Sciences, Food Science, Veterinary Medicine – 200 and above
  • Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, Home Science, Tourism – 180
  • Library Science, Cooperative Studies, Development Studies – from 160

How to Apply for FUNAAB Post-UTME/DE 2025

Here’s a step-by-step guide to a stress-free registration:

  1. Visit the FUNAAB admission portal
  2. Log in with your JAMB UTME/DE number.
  3. Generate and print your invoice with a REMITA Reference Number (RRR).
  4. Pay ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges) online or at any REMITA-friendly bank.
  5. Return to the portal, fill out the admission form carefully, and submit.
  6. Print the completed form (with your passport photo attached).

Important Notes:

  • Any mistake on the form will cost ₦1,500 to correct before the deadline.
  • Upload the correct O’level or DE results only—false results will lead to disqualification.

Part-Time Degree Option

Candidates can also indicate interest in evening/part-time classes for some courses. More details are available on the FUNAAB Part-Time Degree portal.

Deadline

  • Opening Date: Monday, 21 July 2025
  • Closing Date: Friday, 22 August 2025

No late entries. No extensions. Missing the deadline means missing admission.
