COOU Post-UTME 2025/2026: Everything You Need to Know About Registration, Cut-Off Marks, and Deadlines
Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), formerly known as Anambra State University, has officially opened its gates for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration.
If you sat for the 2025 UTME and listed COOU as your first choice, now is the time to act. And if COOU wasn’t your first choice, there’s still hope — you can simply visit a JAMB CBT centre to make the switch and secure your spot.
Cut-Off Marks You Should Know
- 150 and above: Eligible for most courses.
- 200 and above: Required for Law, Medicine, Nursing, Medical Laboratory Technology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Key Dates and Application Fee
- Application Fee: ₦2,000 (payable via REMITA at any commercial bank or online).
- Start Date: Monday, 11 August 2025.
- Closing Date: Thursday, 18 September 2025.
- Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 16 years old by 30 September 2025.
How to Apply for COOU Post-UTME 2025/2026
Step 1: Visit the COOU portal and click Prospective Students.
Step 2: Select Generate 2025/2026 PUTME Invoice.
Step 3: Enter your JAMB registration number to generate your invoice.
Step 4: Pay ₦2,000 either at a bank or online using an ATM card.
Step 5: Return to the portal, re-enter your JAMB number, then click Apply Here.
Step 6: Fill in your date of birth and other required fields.
Step 7: Upload your O’Level results to JAMB CAPS (only at an accredited CBT centre).
Step 8: Upload scanned copies (max size: 50KB each) of:
- JAMB result slip
- O’Level 1
- O’Level 2 (if applicable)
Step 9: Review the summary page, tick the confirmation box, submit, and print your acknowledgement slip.
Direct Entry Applicants
If you are applying through Direct Entry and COOU is your first choice:
- Select 2025/2026 Direct Entry Application on the portal.
- You must possess an OND, HND, First Degree, or A’Level in relevant subjects.
