The Joseph Adekunle Adegbite Scholarship Foundation (JAASF) has opened applications for its 2025/2026 scholarship round — and if you’re a brilliant student in a Nigerian government university, this could be your breakthrough.
The foundation has a clear mission: to support exceptional students who face financial hurdles, especially orphans, children of widows, and those from low-income families. But JAASF doesn’t stop at paying your school fees — it offers mentorship, encouragement, and guidance to help you push past academic and personal challenges.
Who can apply for the JAASF 2025/2026 Scholarship?
JAASF is looking for two main categories of applicants:
1. Newly Admitted Students
You must:
- Score 250 or above in JAMB
- Hold a provisional admission into a Nigerian government university
2. Returning Students
You must:
- Be currently enrolled in a Nigerian government university
- Have at least a Second-Class Upper (for university students) or Upper Credit (for polytechnic/college of education students)

How to Apply for the JAASF Scholarship
- Visit the JAASF scholarship portal.
- Fill in your details according to your category (Newly Admitted or Returning Student)
- Upload the required documents:
For Newly Admitted Students:
- Provisional admission letter
- JAMB score proof (250+)
- O’Level result
For Returning Students:
- Current academic grade proof
- School ID card
