FUBK Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening 2025/2026: Cut-Off Marks, Application Steps & Deadline
The Federal University Birnin Kebbi (FUBK) has officially announced the commencement of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening for the 2025/2026 academic session. The online application process begins Monday, August 11, 2025, for candidates who selected FUBK as their first choice in the 2025 UTME and meet the university’s entry requirements.
Who is Eligible?
- UTME Applicants: Minimum score of 150 in the 2025 UTME.
- Direct Entry Applicants: At least Lower Credit in ND from a recognized institution or 7 points in NCE/IJMB.
Official Cut-Off Marks for FUBK 2025/2026
Cut-off marks vary based on Merit, Educationally Less Developed States (ELDS), and Catchment Areas. Below are some highlights:
- Medicine & Surgery – Merit: 240 | ELDS: 230 | Catchment: 220
- Nursing/Nursing Science – Merit: 220 | ELDS: 210 | Catchment: 200
- Computer Science – Merit: 200 | ELDS: 190 | Catchment: 180
- Microbiology – Merit: 200 | ELDS: 190 | Catchment: 170
- Economics – Merit: 180 | ELDS: 170 | Catchment: 160
- Business Administration – Merit: 170 | ELDS: 160 | Catchment: 160
- English Language – Merit: 160 | ELDS: 150 | Catchment: 150
- Other Programmes – Many courses accept 150 for all categories.
Tip: If your score is below the cut-off for your desired programme, consider switching to a course you qualify for before applying.
How to Apply for FUBK Post-UTME/DE 2025
- Visit the FUBK eForms portal
- Create an account (new users) or log in (returning users).
- Select the PUTME form and click Order.
- Enter your JAMB Registration Number and confirm details.
- Pay ₦2,000 (excluding bank charges) via any payment channel.
- Verify your NIN as instructed.
- Upload your O’Level and A’Level results.
- Review and submit your application.
