orno State University Opens 2025/2026 Post-UTME & Direct Entry Screening — See Cut-off Marks, Requirements, and How to Apply
Borno State University (BOSU) has officially opened its portal for the 2025/2026 Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise. If you chose BOSU in your 2025 UTME or applied via Direct Entry, this is your golden opportunity to secure a place in one of the university’s competitive programmes.
The online registration runs from Monday, August 11, 2025, to Sunday, August 31, 2025. Delay could cost you your admission, so early application is advised.
Who Can Apply for BOSU Post-UTME 2025/2026?
For UTME Candidates
You must have:
- Met the minimum cut-off mark for your chosen faculty/programme.
- Written the correct UTME subject combination.
- At least five relevant O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics.

Note: If your UTME score falls below the required mark for your preferred course, you must change to an eligible course on the JAMB portal before applying.
For Direct Entry (DE) Candidates
In addition to O’Level requirements, you must have:
- At least 9 points or Merit in NCE.
- Lower Credit in ND/HND.
- Or Second Class Lower in a Degree programme.
Also, ensure your O’Level results are uploaded on JAMB CAPS — without this, BOSU will not process your admission.
How to Apply for BOSU Post-UTME 2025
- Visit the BOSU Post UTME portal.
- Use your JAMB Registration Number as both username and password to verify your details.
- Generate a Remita payment code and pay the ₦2,000 application fee online via card or at any bank.
- Return to the portal, log in again, and complete your application form.
