WAEC Releases 2025 May/June Results — See How to Check Yours Online or by SMS

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially released the 2025 May/June WASSCE results, and for almost two million candidates, today marks a turning point in their academic journey.

A total of 1,969,313 candidates sat for the examination this year. Out of these, 1,239,884 candidates — about 63% — secured credits in at least five subjects, including English Language and Mathematics. The full breakdown of the results is already available on the WAEC official portal.

What You Need Before Checking Your WAEC Result

Before rushing to the portal, make sure you have the following:

• WAEC Examination Number – a 10-digit code (your centre number + seat number).
• PIN and Serial Number – printed on the Smart Identity Card used during the exam.

7. Your new PIN will be sent instantly—keep it safe.

How to Check WAEC 2025 Results Online

Once you have your details:

1. Go to the WAEC Result Portal.
2. Enter your Examination Number.
3. Select 2025 as the exam year.
4. Choose School Candidate Result.
5. Input your PIN and Serial Number.
6. Click Submit and wait for your result to load.

How to Check WAEC 2025 Results by SMS

If internet is slow, you can still get your result via SMS:

• Send it to 32327 on MTN, Airtel, or Glo.

After Checking Your WAEC Result

• You can apply for your WAEC Digital Certificate via the WAEC Digital Certificate Platform.
• The printed copy will be available for collection at your school in about three months.
