AKSU Opens 2025/2026 JUPEB Admission — Here’s How to Apply
If JAMB has been holding back your academic dreams, Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) just handed you a second chance. The institution has officially begun admission for its 2025/2026 JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) programme — and yes, you can gain direct entry into 200 level without writing JAMB.
This one-year advanced programme offers an alternative route for students who want to beat the system and fast-track their university admission. It’s real, and it’s happening now.
What’s JUPEB, and Why Should You Care?
JUPEB is a nationally recognized A’level programme that lets successful candidates gain direct admission into 200 level in AKSU or any partnering university in Nigeria.
With JAMB increasingly unpredictable, many students are turning to JUPEB — and now, AKSU is making it even easier.
Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of five (5) O’level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- Results must be obtained from no more than two sittings
- The remaining three subjects must be relevant to your desired course of study
If that’s you, congratulations — you qualify.
Programme Timeline
- Duration: 12 months
- Commencement Date: Applications open from 1st May 2025
Once the programme is completed and you pass the JUPEB exams, you’re automatically considered for 200-level admission into AKSU. No JAMB. No delay. No problem.
How to Apply for AKSU JUPEB 2025
- Pay a ₦15,000 non-refundable application fee
- Complete and submit the online JUPEB application form via JUPEB online application form.
- Or apply physically at:
- AKSU Basic Studies Centre, Obio Akpa Campus
- GSS Unit, AKSU Main Campus, Ikot Akpaden
After applying, submit photocopies of all necessary documents at the Admission Office, Obio Akpa Campus.
