UNILAG Post-UTME 2025: Everything You Need to Know About Registration, Requirements, and Screening Dates

If you’re eyeing the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for your undergraduate studies in the 2025/2026 academic session, now is the time to act. The institution has officially announced that its Post-UTME online registration will kick off on Monday, July 28, 2025, and will close on Wednesday, August 20, 2025.

This is a golden window for all 2025 UTME candidates who selected UNILAG as their first choice to take the next step toward admission.

Who Is Eligible?

To be considered for UNILAG’s Post-UTME screening, you must:

• Have chosen UNILAG as your first choice in the 2025 UTME
• Scored 200 and above
• Possess five (5) credit passes in one sitting, including English Language and Mathematics
• Be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025
• Have uploaded your O’Level results to the JAMB portal on or before September 12, 2025

Important Note:
If you don’t meet any of the above, you are not eligible to apply.

Special Restrictions

• Skipping the screening test automatically disqualifies you — no admission without it.
• Use your personal active email address during registration to avoid missing updates.
• Former UNILAG students whose admission was withdrawn can only reapply to a different course.
• If you were expelled from UNILAG, you cannot reapply at all.

Application Fees

Here’s what you’ll need to pay:

• ₦2,000 for the Post-UTME application
• ₦3,500 as administrative charge

How to Apply on the UNILAG Portal

Follow these step-by-step instructions:

1. Visit UNILAG’s official website 
2. Click on Admissions
3. Select Post-UTME Application
4. Use your UTME registration number as your username
   Use your surname (lowercase) as your password
5. Generate a payment slip
6. Pay via commercial bank or online
7. Return to the portal and complete the screening form
8. Print your Post-UTME exam pass

Important Test Dates

• Mock Exam: August 25 – 27, 2025
• Main Post-UTME Test: September 1 – 5, 2025
