KWASU 2025/2026 Admission Begins — Here’s How to Apply Successfully

Are you ready to join one of Nigeria’s most forward-thinking universities? Kwara State University (KWASU), Malete, has officially opened its portal for the 2025/2026 undergraduate admission process. Whether you’re a UTME or Direct Entry candidate, this is your opportunity to secure your place!


Who Can Apply?

KWASU is calling on two sets of candidates to apply:

  1. Candidates who selected KWASU as their first choice in JAMB.
  2. Candidates who now wish to change their first choice to KWASU. Note: If you fall into the second category, you must first make the change on the JAMB portal before starting your application on the KWASU portal.

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission, you must:

  • Have at least five (5) O’Level credits in relevant subjects.
  • Results must be obtained in not more than two sittings.
  • Awaiting result candidates can apply but must upload results when available.
  • MBBS applicants must have all five required credits in one sitting only.

Screening Fee

  • A non-refundable fee of ₦2,000 is required for the application.
  • Double-check your information before making payment to avoid errors.

Step-by-Step Guide to Apply for KWASU Admission

Follow these steps carefully:

  1. Visit KWASU application page
  2. Click on the “Undergraduate” tab.
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Continue.
  4. Fill in your contact information.
  5. Proceed to make payment using your ATM card (Visa, MasterCard, or Verve).
  6. Input the OTP sent to your phone to complete the transaction.
  7. After payment, log in again using your JAMB number and surname.
  8. Click Login to Dashboard and complete your application.
  9. Print your payment receipt and registration form for record purposes.

If your payment fails, don’t panic. Re-query your transaction using your JAMB number and phone number on the same portal.

Application Timeline

  • Opening Date: Friday, July 18, 2025
  • Closing Date: Sunday, August 17, 2025

Apply early! Don’t wait until the last minute to avoid network or technical issues.

Important Notes for Applicants

  • Admission is based on a 70:30 ratio — 70% JAMB/DE score and 30% O’Level performance.
  • False information or forged documents (e.g., fake certificates of origin) will lead to automatic disqualification and possible legal action.
