Admission Now Open at EBSU: Apply for 2025/2026 Post-UTME & Direct Entry

Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has officially opened its gates for admission into the 2025/2026 academic session. Whether you’re applying through Post-UTME or Direct Entry, this guide simplifies the process and helps you avoid costly mistakes.

Who Can Apply?

EBSU has laid out clear criteria for admission. You are eligible if:

  • You scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME. (Some departments require higher scores—check the official cut-off list.)
  • You chose EBSU as your First Choice. If not, you can change your institution on the JAMB portal.
  • You have at least five (5) O’Level credits, including English and Mathematics, from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB — in not more than two sittings.
  • You’re awaiting results? You can still apply!
  • Make sure your name is the same across all documents — any mismatch can cancel your application.

Important Things to Know

  • No physical screening will be done. Everything is online.
  • Admission status will be available through the EBSU Admission List Portal.
  • Upload your O’Level result to both the EBSU portal and JAMB CAPS.
  • If offered admission, accept it on JAMB CAPS within two weeks—or risk losing your slot.

Follow these steps carefully to submit your application:

  1. Visit the official EBSU portal.
  2. Click on “Online Application Forms”, and select either Post-UTME or Direct Entry.
  3. Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Login.
  4. Generate your ₦2,000 payment invoice and pay at any bank or with your ATM card.
