UNIPORT 2025 Post-UTME Screening: Registration Now Open

Are you one of the candidates who chose the University of Port Harcourt as your first choice in the 2025 UTME? Did you score 150 or above? Then it’s time to take action. UNIPORT has officially opened its Post-UTME screening registration — and you have just one week to register!


Registration Timeline

Start Date: Friday, July 11, 2025
Deadline: Friday, July 18, 2025 (Midnight)

No late entries will be accepted after the deadline.

Who Can Apply?

  • Candidates who chose UNIPORT as their first choice in the 2025 UTME.
  • Scored 150 and above in the UTME.
  • Must be at least 16 years old by September 2025.

Note: If UNIPORT is your second choice, you must first change it to your first choice on the JAMB portal before registering.

Step-by-Step Guide to Register

STEP 1: Start Your Registration

Visit the UNIPORT UTME portal and enter your UTME registration number to load your details.

STEP 2: Make Payment (₦2,000)

You have two payment options:

  • Online: Use Verve, Visa, or MasterCard via Remita to pay online.
  • Bank Payment: Print your Remita payment slip and pay at any of these banks:
    Access Bank, Ecobank, Fidelity, First Bank, FCMB, UBA, or UNIPORT-Choba Microfinance Bank.

After payment, collect a Remita receipt that contains your access code.

STEP 3: Complete Your Application (From July 14)

Return to the portal, log in with your UTME number and Remita access code to continue the registration.

  • If your O’Level result isn’t out yet, tick the “awaiting result” box.
  • Ensure all entries are accurate.
  • Submit and print out your Registration Slip — you’ll need this later!

Important Reminders

  • The screening schedule will be published only on the UNIPORT website. No SMS alerts will be sent.
  • Your names must match across all documents: UTME result, O’Level certificates, and registration slip.
  • Use your own valid phone number and email during registration — that’s how you’ll be contacted.
  • Phones, smartwatches, iPads, and other devices are banned from the screening venue.
  • Parents and guardians are not allowed inside the school during the test.

Make sure you’ve uploaded your O’Level results on JAMB CAPS, or your application will be disqualified.
