Whether you’re just completing your UTME or seeking Direct Entry into MBBS or other health-related courses, EkoUNIMED offers accredited, career-focused programs built for the future of healthcare in Nigeria.


What Courses Are Offered at EkoUNIMED?

EkoUNIMED operates through two specialized faculties:

Faculty of Clinical Sciences

  • MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
    • Duration: 5 or 6 years (depending on mode of entry)

Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences

  • B.Sc. Human Anatomy
  • B.Sc. Medical Biochemistry
  • B.Sc. Human Physiology
  • B.Sc. Pharmacology
    • Duration: 3 or 4 years

Who Can Apply?

General Admission Requirements

To be eligible for admission into any program, applicants must have:

  • Five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or GCE (not more than 2 sittings)
    • Compulsory subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • UTME Score Requirements:
    • MBBS: Minimum score of 200
    • Basic Medical Sciences: Minimum score of 180
  • Candidates may be required to undergo screening or interview.

MBBS (Direct Entry) Admission

You may qualify for Direct Entry into MBBS with one of the following:

  • B.Sc. in Basic Medical or Biological Sciences (minimum Second Class Lower)
  • Two A-Level passes in relevant subjects
  • Valid JUPEB result with acceptable grades

Basic Medical Sciences (Direct Entry)

Applicants seeking direct entry into B.Sc. programs must meet any of the following:

  • B.Sc. in a related field from a recognized institution (Second Class Lower minimum)
  • NCE or ND with at least Lower Credit
  • Two A-Level passes in science subjects
  • JUPEB result with suitable scores

How to Apply

To apply, simply visit the EkoUNIMED application portal and follow these steps:

  1. Fill out the online application form
  2. Upload all required documents (results, identification, etc.)
  3. Submit and keep a copy of your application slip
