Applications Now Open for UNTH’s 5-Year Bachelor of Nursing Science Programme
If you’re dreaming of becoming a nurse, here’s your chance! The College of Nursing Sciences at the University of Nigeria Teaching Hospital (UNTH), Enugu, has officially opened applications for its prestigious 5-year Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This programme is offered in affiliation with the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), giving students a strong academic foundation and hands-on hospital training.
Key Dates to Remember
- Application Opens: Monday, 23 June 2025
- Application Closes: Sunday, 3 August 2025
- Screening Exam: Saturday, 9 August 2025
Who Can Apply?
To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Be at least 16 years old by June 2025
Have five credits in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB (English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) in not more than two sittings
Note: NABTEB can only be combined with NABTEB
Score 160 or above in the 2025 UTME (JAMB)
Must have written English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in the UTME
Choose College of Nursing Sciences, UNTH (affiliate of UNN) as your first choice institution
If you didn’t, make sure to do a change of institution on your JAMB CAPS
How to Apply
Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Visit the UNTH College of Nursing application portal
- Fill out the form online
- Pay the application fee of ₦20,000 using a debit card only
- Print your application form and exam slip
- Submit the printed form with photocopies of your credentials to the College Secretariat
- Be ready to pay a ₦2,000 processing fee during submission
Note: All online registration must be done at the College of Nursing Sciences, UNTH, Enugu.
Screening Exam
- Date: Saturday, 9 August 2025
- Make sure to apply and complete submission before the 3 August deadline
