Effurun, Nigeria – The Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), Effurun has officially announced the sale of admission forms for its Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Available HND Programmes at PTI
PTI offers industry-relevant HND programmes designed to equip students for top careers in energy, engineering, and technology fields. Available courses include:
- Petroleum Engineering Technology
- Mineral & Petroleum Resources Engineering Technology
(Options: Mining, Geological Engineering) - Welding & Fabrication Engineering Technology
- Industrial Safety & Environmental Technology
(Options: Safety, Environmental) - Petroleum & Gas Processing Engineering
(Options: Petrochemical, Gas Processing, Refining) - Mechanical Engineering Technology
(Options: Manufacturing, Power Plant) - Electrical/Electronic Engineering Technology

Who Can Apply?
You’re eligible to apply if you meet the following criteria:
- National Diploma (ND) in a related discipline
- Five O’Level credits, including English Language and Mathematics
- NBTE registration: You must first register your details on the NBTE portal before applying on PTI’s website
How to Apply for PTI HND Admission
Follow these simple steps to complete your application:
- Visit the PTI’s website
- Click the Programmes Menu and select Higher National Diploma
- Click on Apply Here
- On the Sign-on page, fill in your personal details and click Sign Up
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code
- Make a payment of ₦15,000 at any bank
- Return to the portal and click Applicant Login
- Enter your username and password to complete the form
- Print out your application slip and keep it for your interview
Note: Late applications attract a fee of ₦20,000 and will only be accepted from August 21 to 24, 2025.
Interview Details
- Date: Monday, August 25 – Friday, August 29, 2025
- Venue: PTI Campus, Effurun, Delta State
- Transcript Deadline: All ND transcripts must be received via courier on or before August 25, 2025
- Important: Come with your payment slip as proof of transcript processing
