AFIT Opens IJMB Admission for 2025/2026 — Gain Direct Entry Without JAMB

The Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), Kaduna, has officially opened applications for its Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme for the 2025/2026 academic session. This alternative admission route offers students the chance to secure direct entry into 200-level university programmes — no JAMB required.

Why This Matters:
With rising competition for university slots through JAMB, the IJMB pathway offers a strategic academic shortcut. If you’re aiming to fast-track your university education, this could be your best shot.

Who Can Apply?

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a minimum of five O’level credits in WAEC, NECO, or GCE, including:
  • English Language
  • Mathematics
  • Three relevant subjects based on the chosen field of study
  • Must be ready to sit for the final IJMB examination
  • Must score at least 10 points in the final IJMB exam to be eligible for direct entry into a university

How the Programme Works

The IJMB programme at AFIT runs for one full academic session. Once admitted, students are grouped into one of six academic classes (IJMB 1 to IJMB 6), depending on their subject combination and career interest.

Classes are rigorous and structured, with a curriculum designed to prepare students for the IJMB final exam. Upon successful completion with the required points, candidates can apply for direct entry admission into 200-level in any Nigerian university that accepts IJMB.
