Admissions Open for 2025/2026 Session
The School of Community Health, under OAUTHC Ile-Ife, has officially opened its application portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. The programme begins in September 2025, and students will earn a Higher Diploma in Community Health after completing either a one-year or two-year programme, depending on their prior qualifications.
Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Basic Requirements
All applicants must have five (5) credit passes in the following subjects:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
These results must be from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB and obtained in no more than two sittings.
For the One-Year Programme
To qualify for the one-year track, you must:
- Be a Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW)
- Hold a First Degree or HND in Community Health Science, Health Education, or Public Health
- Be registered with the Community Health Practitioners Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN)
- Possess a valid practising licence
For the Two-Year Programme
To qualify for the two-year track, applicants must have:
- A Diploma in Community Health
- OR a CHEW Certificate with at least 5 years of work experience
- Current CHPRBN registration and valid licence
Selection Process
Admission will be based on your performance in two stages:
- Written Test – Monday, 21 July 2025
- Oral Interview – Tuesday, 22 July 2025
On the exam day, candidates must bring:
- Original copies of certificates
- Valid practising licence
- Two printed copies of the application slip
