JUTH’s College of Community Health Opens 2025/2026 Admission for Community Health Officers Programme
The College of Community Health at Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) is now accepting applications for its Community Health Officers (CHO) Programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Cost of Application Form
Each application form costs ₦15,000 (fifteen thousand naira only). Payment must follow JUTH’s official payment process via Remita.
Entry Requirements
One-Year CHO Programme:
Ideal for those with advanced qualifications. To qualify, you must:
- Hold a Diploma in Community Health or Community Health Extension Worker Certificate.
- Have five credit passes in SSCE (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB), obtained in not more than two sittings. Compulsory subjects include:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Biology
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Have a degree in Community Health Science, Health Education, Public Health, or HND/PGD in a health-related field.
- Be registered and hold a valid practising licence from the Community Health Practitioner Registration Board of Nigeria (CHPRBN).
Two-Year CHO Programme:
This is suitable for applicants who have foundational experience but not a degree. You must:
- Hold a Diploma in Community Health or CHEW Certificate.
- Have five SSCE credits in the same subjects listed above.
- Be registered and licensed by the CHPRBN.
How to Pay and Get the Form
- Visit the College of Community Health, JUTH, located at the Old Site, Muritala Muhammed Way, Jos.
- Request a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) at the college.
- Pay ₦15,000 using the RRR through an approved bank or online platform.
- Take your payment receipt to the Accounts Department at JUTH to collect the official form.
Entrance Examination Date
Mark your calendar: the entrance examination will be held on June 14, 2025. Make sure your documents are complete and submitted before the May 30 deadline to qualify for the exam.
