NYSC 2025 Batch “A” Mobilization: Registration for All Graduates Opens April 7
Calling All Graduates! The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has officially opened the registration portal for the 2025 Batch “A” mobilization. All prospective corps members (PCMs) — both Nigerian graduates from universities and polytechnics, as well as those trained abroad — are invited to begin their registration from April 7, 2025.
Important Registration Deadlines:
- The portal closes on April 11, 2025. Don’t miss out!
- The registration process is open to all recent graduates, both local and foreign-trained.
Here’s Everything You Need to Know About the NYSC Registration Process:
1. Registration for Locally-Trained Graduates
- Step 1: Collect Your NIN: You’ll need a National Identification Number (NIN) to start the process.
- Step 2: Choose Your Registration Option:
- If you’re a first-time registrant, select “Fresh Registration.”
- If you’ve been previously deployed but didn’t report to camp, choose “Revalidation.”
- If you started the registration process before but didn’t complete it, select “Login Here” to continue where you left off.
- Step 3: Photo Guidelines: During registration, a webcam will capture your facial image for your passport. Ensure you are well-dressed — blurred images will not be accepted.
- Step 4: Thumbprint & Details: Always use your own thumbprint during the registration process. Once your Date of Birth, Graduation Date, and Course of Study are recorded, they can’t be corrected after camp. So, double-check them!
Additional Tips:
- Married women seeking marital concessions should upload their marriage documents.
- If you have a disability or health condition, please indicate it during registration and upload the necessary medical documents.
2. Registration for Foreign-Trained Graduates
Foreign-trained graduates, this section is for you! Here’s what you need to do:
- Step 1: Verify Your Documents: Visit https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc1/ForeignReq.aspx for the full list of required documents and processes.
- Step 2: Don’t Duplicate Accounts: Create only one account to avoid complications. Ensure that your name matches the one on your certificates.
- Step 3: Online Registration: You can register from anywhere, but don’t forget that you must complete thumbprinting in Nigeria before heading to the Orientation Camp.
- Step 4: Pre-Camp Verification: Choose a verification center near you during online registration. Once you’ve completed this, ensure your original documents (degree certificate, transcript, and travel documents) are verified at a Pre-Camp center in Nigeria.
- Step 5: Translated Certificates: If your degree certificate is in a foreign language, bring a translated version to camp.
Key Reminders for Foreign Graduates:
- You must submit an Evaluation Letter from the Federal Ministry of Education if your institution has not been evaluated.
- Make sure the SSCE (Senior Secondary Certificate Examination) result you upload is at least four years old.
- If you are exempted from service, your Exemption Certificate will be available for you at the NYSC National Directorate Headquarters (NDHQ) in Abuja.
3. Important Steps for All Graduates:
- Cyber Café Services: Cyber cafes usually charge between ₦5,000 and ₦6,000 for registration services, depending on location.
- NYSC Website Links for Registration:
