MAUTECH Unveils Three New Faculties to Boost Academic Growth and Innovation
The Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) in Yola has announced the creation of three new faculties as part of its ongoing commitment to expand academic offerings and provide more opportunities for students. - World Bank Intervention: MAUTECH will host a state-of-the-art Artificial Insemination Centre (AIC), funded by the World Bank. This center will focus on advancing animal husbandry, improving livestock species, and enhancing the production of meat and milk in Nigeria. The establishment of this center is a major step toward supporting agricultural research and improving food security in the region.
- Federal Government Support: In response to the university’s growing needs, the Federal Ministry of Water Resources has approved the installation of a large industrial borehole with a 40,000-litre storage capacity. This project will ensure a reliable water supply to support both academic activities and the campus community.
