How Admission Scores Are Calculated at UNN
Understanding how universities calculate admission scores helps you interpret your results. At institutions using the JAMB CAPS system, including partner universities like Olabisi Onabanjo University, the formula typically follows this pattern:
- UTME Candidates: ((UTME score + 400) × 60%) + (Aggregate score × 40%)
- Direct Entry Candidates: ((POST-UME score + 100) × 40%) + (Cumulative GPA)
However, remember that each institution may adjust weightings, so check JAMB’s official website for UNN’s exact formula.
