Federal University of Lafia begins ID card collection for 2025/2026 newly admitted students
The management of the Federal University of Lafia (FULAFIA) has officially announced the commencement of identity card collection for newly admitted 100 Level and 200 Level (Direct Entry) students for the 2025/2026 academic session.
According to an internal memo issued by the university’s ICT Unit and signed by the Head of the BCS Unit, Sabuwa AB Ibrahim, the ID cards are now ready for pickup. Students are required to strictly follow the collection dates assigned to their respective faculties, as the university has warned against jumping scheduled dates.
Where and when to collect
All eligible students are to collect their identity cards at the ICT Complex, Room F03, within the university campus.
The collection exercise will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and students are advised to appear only within the stipulated hours.
Faculty-by-faculty collection timetable
The university released a structured timetable to ensure an orderly distribution of the ID cards:
- College of Medicine: Monday, 16 February – Thursday, 19 February 2026
- Faculty of Agriculture: Friday, 20 February – Monday, 23 February 2026
- Faculty of Arts: Tuesday, 24 February – Friday, 27 February 2026
- Faculty of Computing: Monday, 2 March – Wednesday, 4 March 2026
- Faculty of Environmental Design: Thursday, 5 March – Friday, 6 March 2026
- Faculty of Life Science: Monday, 9 March – Friday, 13 March 2026
- Faculty of Education: Monday, 16 March – Wednesday, 18 March 2026
- Faculty of Management Science: Tuesday, 24 March – Friday, 27 March 2026
- Faculty of Physical Science: Monday, 30 March – Wednesday, 1 April 2026
- Faculty of Veterinary Medicine & Faculty of Pharmacy: Thursday, 2 April – Friday, 3 April 2026

Window for complaints and ID card issues
Students experiencing any challenges or discrepancies related to their ID cards can visit the ICT Complex during a dedicated complaint window scheduled from Monday, 13 April to Friday, 30 April 2026. This period is reserved for enquiries and resolution of ID card-related issues across all faculties.
Management urges strict compliance
University authorities emphasized that each faculty has been assigned specific dates to prevent overcrowding and delays. Students are strongly advised to comply fully with the timetable to ensure a smooth and efficient collection process.
The announcement is part of FULAFIA’s efforts to streamline administrative processes and improve service delivery for newly admitted students.
