The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has announced the opening of its 2025/2026 postgraduate admission cycle, calling on qualified candidates nationwide to apply for a wide range of Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Masters, and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) programmes across all its colleges.

The application portal officially opens Monday, November 10, 2025, with deadlines varying depending on the programme.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD)

  • HND or first degree in relevant fields.
  • Must meet basic undergraduate UTME requirements.

Master’s Degrees (Academic & Professional)

  • Minimum of Second Class (Upper Division).
  • Second Class (Lower Division) may be accepted depending on programme.
  • Additional criteria for ICT, Engineering, Agric Economics, Communication Studies, MBA, and Entrepreneurship programmes.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)

  • Master’s degree in relevant field with minimum required scores.
  • One-year Master’s holders will undergo a conversion exam.
