2025 NNPC/Chevron Scholarship Now Open — Earn ₦200,000 Annually Until Graduation


Applications for the prestigious 2025 NNPC/Chevron National University Scholarship are now officially open — and if you’re a second-year Nigerian undergraduate with strong academic records, this could be your golden ticket.

In a joint effort between Chevron Nigeria Limited and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), this scholarship is part of an ongoing commitment to empower brilliant Nigerian students across the country.

With a yearly stipend of ₦200,000, this opportunity is open to students from all 36 states and the FCT — as long as you meet the eligibility criteria and study an approved course.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for this year’s scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a second-year student admitted during the 2023/2024 academic session
  • Be enrolled full-time in a recognized Nigerian university
  • Maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale
  • Have at least six O’Level credits in one sitting
  • Be studying an eligible course (see list below)

What You Get

Selected scholars will receive ₦200,000 every year until they graduate — provided they maintain the required grades and stay enrolled in an approved course.

What You Need to Apply

Before you begin your application, ensure you have clean and clearly named scans of the following documents:

  • A recent passport photograph (max 6 months old, 450x450px, under 200KB)
  • University ID card
  • Admission letter
  • Birth certificate
  • O’Level result
  • JAMB result
  • Local government identification letter

Important: Upload only the required documents. No mixing or mislabeling.

How to Apply

A Few Ground Rules

  • No application fees. This scholarship is 100% free.
  • No aptitude test. Selection is purely based on submitted credentials.
  • Do not apply for more than one Chevron/NNPCL-sponsored scholarship.
  • Avoid third-party agents. Applications made outside the Scholastica portal will be disqualified.
  • Forgery leads to instant disqualification.
