2025 Admissions Now Open at Federal Polytechnic Nekede

The Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri (FPNO) has officially opened its Post-UTME screening portal for National Diploma (ND) applicants for the 2025/2026 academic session.

If you scored 100 and above in the 2025 UTME and selected Nekede as your first or second choice, then this is your golden chance to secure admission.

But act fast — the application deadline is August 31, 2025.

Who is Eligible?

To be qualified for the screening exercise, you must meet the following criteria:

• UTME Score: Minimum of 100 in the 2025 JAMB
• O’Level Result: At least five (5) credits, including English Language and Mathematics, in not more than two sittings (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Correct JAMB Subjects: Your subject combination must match the course you’re applying for
• First Choice Status: If you chose Nekede as a second or third choice, you must change it to first choice on the JAMB portal before applying

What You’ll Need to Apply

Be ready to provide the following during your application:

• Your O’Level results
• Your UTME score
• Your correct JAMB subject combination
• Your JAMB registration number

Important: Any false or conflicting information will lead to automatic disqualification. Double-check before submitting!

How to Apply – Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Visit the Application Portal

Go to ndapplication.fpno.edu.ng

Step 2: Fill in Your Bio-data

Generate an invoice and save or print your invoice number.

Step 3: Make Payment

Pay the ₦5,000 screening fee using the Remita platform:

• Pay online with your ATM card (Verve, Visa, or MasterCard)
• Or walk into any bank and pay using your RRR number

Step 4: Complete the Application

After payment:

1. Go to www.fpno.edu.ng
2. Click on “Application Form”
3. Fill out your application
4. Print out your acknowledgment slip

If you paid online, you can log back in immediately to print your receipt and slip.

• ❗ No need to travel to Owerri – you can apply from anywhere in Nigeria
• ❗ Didn’t choose Nekede originally? Visit any JAMB CBT centre to change your institution and upload your O’Level results
• ❗ Make sure your JAMB subject combination fits your course to avoid disqualification
• ❗ No shortcuts – wrong information will lead to automatic disqualification
