Admission Screening Now Open at AUSU for 2025/2026
Al-Istiqama University, Sumaila (AUSU), located in Kano State, has officially commenced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Who Is Eligible to Apply?
Before starting your application, make sure you meet the following criteria:
UTME Candidates
- You must score 150 or above in the 2025 UTME.
- Note: Some courses may require a higher score. Confirm the cut-off for your chosen program.
First Choice Institution
- AUSU must be your first choice in JAMB.
- Not your first choice? Visit any JAMB CBT Centre to make the change using your Green Card.
Awaiting NECO/WAEC Results?
- You can apply with a pending result, but make sure to upload it to both JAMB CAPS and the university portal before the end of November 2025.
Correct UTME Subject Combination
- Your UTME subjects must match your chosen course. If not, AUSU may transfer you to a suitable program.
O’Level Requirements
- You must have at least five credits, including English and Mathematics, plus three relevant subjects.
- You can combine results from two sittings.
How to Apply for AUSU Screening (Step-by-Step)
Follow these simple steps to complete your screening application:
- Visit the AUSU admission portal.
- Click on “Admission”, then select “Online Form”.
- Hit “New Application” and provide your name and phone number.
- Log in using your phone number and password.
- Select “Degree” under Application Type.
- Pay the ₦20,300 non-refundable screening fee.
- Complete the online form and upload your passport photograph (between 100KB and 400KB).
- Submit and check your Dashboard regularly for updates.
What Happens After Online Screening?
Once you’ve completed the online process, wait for an official notice from the university regarding Physical Screening, where your documents will be verified in person.
