2024/2025 Nigeria Youth Futures Fund Grants: Empowering Young Leaders for National Change
The Nigeria Youth Futures Fund (NYFF) is now accepting applications for its 2024/2025 grant cycle. This initiative aims to support young Nigerians who are passionate about creating positive change and contributing to long-term national development.

What are the NYFF Grants?
The NYFF provides financial support to young leaders and organizations that are driving change in their communities. By filling critical funding gaps, the NYFF amplifies the voices and work of youth changemakers across Nigeria, helping them tackle national issues such as governance, youth inclusion, and social innovation.
Grant Types Available
The 2024/2025 cycle offers three distinct grant categories for individuals and organizations:
- Small Grant: Up to $1,000
This grant supports individuals (aged 18-35) who are running community-based projects with the potential to create positive change. - Development Grant: Up to $10,000
This grant targets grassroots organizations focused on promoting youth inclusion, leadership, and social development at the local level. - Catalyst Grant: Up to $50,000
This is aimed at civic and innovation hubs that are working to build the capacity of youth and strengthen local ecosystems for change and innovation.
These grants are intended to support projects that promote good governance, social justice, and address key national issues.
Eligibility Criteria
For Individuals
- Age: Between 18-35 years.
- Must have a track record in youth activism, project management, or community work.
- Must show proof of identity and/or institutional affiliation.
- Must provide two referees who can speak to your work and impact.
For Organizations
- Must be youth-led and registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) or another relevant government body.
- Should be focused on sustainable solutions within key thematic areas (governance, youth inclusion, etc.).
- Must submit two reputable referees.
- Unregistered groups can apply through a registered entity, such as an umbrella organization.

- Small and Development Grants: Apply through the NYFF Development and Individual Grant Application Portal.
- Catalyst Grants: Apply via the NYFF Catalyst Grant Application Portal.
The deadline for submitting applications is November 30, 2024.
