???? Osun Poly Merges Two Academic Sessions for Degree Students in Collaboration with UNILORIN, UNIZIK
In a major update that affects all prospective and current degree students, Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has announced the merger of its 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 academic sessions for its degree programmes run in partnership with the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) and Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK).
Why the Change?
According to a new notice from the polytechnic’s management, the merger became necessary due to delays in the launch of the JAMB CAPS admission portal, which disrupted the 2024/2025 admission cycle. Many eligible candidates were unable to secure admission on time.
To ensure that no student is left behind, the school has decided to combine both sessions into one unified academic year, which will now begin in August 2025.
