Agglutination is the clumping of red blood ceils along the blood vessels when blood of incompatible blood groups are mixed during transfusion. There is reaction between the uncomplimentary antigen and anti body in the recipient's blood. The antigen in the Red blood ceils of the donor is suppose to be complimentary to the antibody found in the plasma of the recipient to avoid clumping.
