Correct Answer

A

Explanation

Mushroom is composed of an interwoven mass of hyphae called mycelium growing on a substrate. It bears fruiting body above the substrate. The fruiting body is composed of a foot, stipe, or stalk which bears an umbrella shaped pileus! The pileus bears gills at the under surface. Each gill has a hypha which terminates as basidium that bears spores.
