Explanation

Interferon is any protein that increases the resistance of a cell to attack the virus by-unmasking the genes that synthesize antiviral proteins. White blood cells especially the lymphocytes and connective tissues have protein (antiviralagent) or interferon that can kill virus and they are thus called killer cello. Interferon can also be produced using genetically engineered bacteria for treating hepatitis cancer etc. Antivirals a drug or other agent that kills or inhibits viruses or is used to combat viral infection.Antibiotic is a substance that isproduced from micro-organisms especially moulds or fungi or artificiallysynthesized to destroy or inhibit the growth of disease producing micro-organismssuch as bacteria and fungi.Disinfectant is any substance thatkills or inhibits the growth of disease causing micro-organisms and is generally toxic to human tissues e.g. cresol, bleaching powder phenol etc. However, if disinfectants is sufficiently diluted, that is no longer toxic to cells in the body, it serves as antiseptics, e.g. hydrogen peroxide, ethanol. Enzyme is an organic catalyst, proteinous in nature that quickens the rate of chemical reaction but does not take part in the reaction.
