Explanation

Crop rotation is a system of growing some selected crops en a piece of land continuously for years in a definite order (a piece of land is divided into several portions). Crops that make different demands are planted on these portions in a rotational bases. Example, deep rooted crop like yam, cassava and cocoyam is followed by shallow rooted crops eg. maize, meion, rice. This is followed by a period of fallowing. flood from first portion with deep rooted crop is check by the second and third portions with shallow crops and portion of land undergoing fallowing. Option D and A i.e. irrigation and watering makes the soil continuously wet and unable to absorb more water during the rain thereby making the soil more prone to erosion. manuring merely increase soil fertility.
